Transactions can be declined for many reasons. Payyo wants to give as much information about declined transactions as possible. Therefore Payyo designed the declined section in the backoffice. In February 2021 the section received an updated layout with additional information.
What is new?
The declines section in the Payyo backoffice now contains:
- Error code
- Reason (error code title)
- Description of the declined reasons
Additionally, Payyo added a link for the merchant in the backoffice which is directed to the developers portal. There you find an overview of all decline codes plus an additional explanation and further advice for the customer: https://developers.payyo.ch/error-codes#decline_codes
