Payyo has implemented the Virtual Terminal Option for Mail Order and Telephone Orders (MOTO).
When a merchant receives payments by phone and mail, this means the customer is not present for the transaction. In these cases, 3D-secure can not be enforced.
If the merchant intends on making these MOTO transactions, they will need to activate the virtual terminal and process all MOTO transactions through the back office directly, otherwise, the customer will always be required to provide the extra security layer enforced by SCA.
To activate the Virtual Terminal the merchant will be required to provide the PCI SAQ form. Once this has been approved, Payyo will require the user name and email associated with taking the payments for this terminal.
