What do the different refund status mean?

There are 3 types of refund status:

WAITING FOR APPROVAL: A refund will remain pending for 7 days if there is not enough balance in the  account. They will then be rejected automatically. In this case the account holder receives an automatic inpayment link from Payyo to top up the balance or to reject the refund. 

PROCESSED:  The refund was successfully processed. Please note: Depending on the bank and payment method, it may take up to 14 days for the customer to get the money back into their account. Normally the money is back in your account within 2-3 days, but with alternative payment methods or certain banks it can take longer.

REJECTED: The refund request has been rejected. There are two possible scenarios:
1. The customers credit card expired
2. The 7 days pending status expired and the refunds are automatically rejected due to insufficient account balance.
